Psalm 1
I lift my voice to you, my God, I join with the intelligent universe of your design,
I join with those that live in light, That recognize you, my God,
The source and sustaining of all life.
I lift my voice to praise you,
My heart rises in unison with your creation,
My heart pours out its gratitude.
For you have raised me from blackness,
From the horror of oblivion,
To a bright place where you are seen and known.
For you have rescued me from the
evil designs of my enemies,
Within me and without me.
You have saved me from my former master
And my former self: a blind slave.
You have held me in your healing arms,
Your warmth has closed my wounds.
Your tender care has put light in my eyes,
You have granted me sight,
And I see now, my God,
That you are worthy of all praise,
My Lord and my King! |

The House of Prayer
By Gary Batchelder
Luk 19:45-46 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves. Joh 2:17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up. Isa 56:1-12 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil. Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant; Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him. All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all ye beasts in the forest. His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant. 1Co 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Luk 20:25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's. Jesus cleans the temple
The temple was a sacred place to Jesus because it represented the place where God meets man, the place where God communes with His creation, where the divine heart meets the human heart. To Jesus, the profiteering in the temple was a violation of a holy place, a violation of the spirit of fellowship between God and His people. It is a house of prayer, a place of communion, the table of the feast where God blesses His people with food for life and God's people bless Him back with worship. The thieves had intervened, stepped between God and His people, making gain on the spiritual hunger of God's children. They had channeled and diverted that hunger to feed the lust of their own flesh, and in so doing serve the will of the devil. They had thus turned the house of prayer into an occasion for the devil to have his way. They were stealing that which belonged to God, the whole-hearted communion of His people. Jesus knew the heart of His Father. He felt the passion that His Father had for His people and manifested that zeal by running out the thieves. He knew the mind of His Father; that He did not want anything to come between Him and the objects of His love. The jealousy of God over His lovers translated into the consuming zeal in the heart of His Son. READ MORE....
Prophesy 9/16/2006
Under the shadow of my wings
I am calling my people
to come and find safety
under the shadow of my wings, saith the Lord;
to be drawn from the chaos of a world
mad with fear.
I am drawing my people
to my warmth;
out of a world that is
freezing with hatred and destruction.
Come close to my heart,
fear not to come to me.
I know you,
I know what you are,
yet I still want you.
Fear not to come to me.
Let not the enemy decieve you;
I love you.
I care,
I will take care of you.
I will change your circumstance.
You will stand up in me in wholeness.

Prophesy 2/21/2006
The Father's love Raise your eyes, says the Father,
contemplate the vastness of the universe I have created. It reaches beyond your ability to imagine, beyond your capacity to understand. My love for you is like my universe. My desire for you is beyond your level of comprehension.
There is none other beside me. There is no other God.
Your eyes have never seen and your ears have never heard
Live apart from the hopelessness of the world.
I am the Lord your God who will
nurture and cherish you forever in my city of gladness and light. ________________________________________________
